A most uplifting and inspiring day was held in our church and parish hall on Saturday 23^rd November. The day began with Holy Mass celebrated by Fr Tony Shryane and followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament  during which Fr Tony heard confessions. There was also an opportunity to be prayed with. Derek Williams, an international Catholic speaker gave two teachings on the theme Encountering God through the Angels giving many scriptural references and referring to the Dark Night of the Soul by St. John of the Cross. There was an excellent Music Ministry who helped in our praise and thanksgiving but also we experienced periods of deep spiritual silence. The Diocesan Charismatic Team prayed over all the parishioners who were present and for our parish that we would soon have a strong shepherd to lead us.
